"Australia’s Gold Coast" was shot by Joe Capra (scientifantastic) over a two week period on the Gold Coast of Queensland Australia, and was produced for Gold Coast Tourism ( visitgoldcoast.com ).
Welcome to the famous Gold Coast, Australia’s endless playground of entertainment and adventure. For generations we have been embracing and entertaining the Gold Coast’s special guests with a promise of big smiles and warm memories in a spectacle of golden beaches, legendary theme parks, iconic rainforests, and lively attractions. Feel the excitement of life in the fun lane, where the sun shines on an unlimited variety of things to see and do all year round. Cuddle a koala, learn to surf, and walk a World Heritage listed rainforest trail in a day full of natural adventure. Scream with excitement on the biggest and best theme park rides, browse the boutiques, or putt your way to a win on a championship golf course. And as the sun sets over this city by the sea, treat yourself to an international stage show, dine on the freshest local produce and take your cocktail beachside as the Gold Coast glimmers through the night. The Gold Coast is a celebrated holiday experience set on one of Australia’s most spectacular natural stages.
The Gold Coast is famous for fun.

Here is my 4th year animation thesis film. Its an experimental animation (at least for me), inspired by the dialogues of the general public, where I ask them “What does art mean to you?…In 2 sentences.”
The goal of the film was to promote art, and I wanted to make it a collaborative art piece where artists/anybody could contribute their interpretation of “what art means” to them, making it a forever growing art piece. In my original pitch, I wanted to use original voice recordings of the people I’ve interviewed, and animate an interpretation of their dialogue. But due to time restraints, I experimented with my own interpretation of what art means to me.
Thanks for you time! Hope you’ll enjoy this film!
HAPPY MONDAY MOFOS!!!! As promised, here is a new music video for ANTHEM, the first single off of my latest release, Robot Heart. Every sound you hear on ANTHEM was created solely with my vocals - hence Paul’s idea behind the video:)
I realized after we finished recording the EP that all of the songs were about a Robot stealing peoples hearts and about questioning the worth of the human race as a whole. It was fucking depressing…which doesn’t usually bother me, but this time, I was thirsty for something positive. And thus came the idea of ANTHEM - as a reminder that yeah, we can be assholes at times – but as a race, we are in charge of our own lives – and ultimately we can make a difference in the lives of others through generosity and compassion.
I believe in you – you are the answer, you are the truth – so whatcha gonna do?
In May 2012, Geffen Refaeli, freelance illustrator from Tel Aviv, Israel, uploaded her very first @DailyDoodleGram on Instagram. The concept: select elements from different pictures appearing in her Instagram photo stream and combine them into a doodle! Refaeli then tags the users from whose photos she drew inspiration so that others are able to click through and see the originals.
Please note that this film was shot before the Israel-Gaza conflict erupted into the recent, devastating war. Both subject and maker of this film strongly disapprove of the excessive violence on both sides, and call for cease fire, dialog and peace. August 12, 2014
